Personal Touch, Institutional Knowledge
Patrick Louis Carrier
Patrick Louis Carrier has been an attorney and fiduciary professional for over 15 years. He was born in Bethesda, MD while his father was stationed at the Pentagon before moving to West Michigan a few years later and growing up on the family farm. He left the farm for the city life attending undergrad at Loyola University Chicago before receiving his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. Patrick began his career in corporate litigation where he practiced for several years before moving on to Trust based Estate Planning and Asset Protection. Initially Patrick was in private practice working face to face with a wide range of families: new parents, retirees, entrepreneurs, veterans, farmers and those in need of sophisticated wealth and asset protection. Patrick also employed his skills as an attorney and legal consultant to help improve efficiencies and services in the field of Trust based Estate Planning. From there, Patrick moved in house with CIBC PrivateWealth Management where he dealt with high and ultra-high net worth clients across the country. The combination of direct face-to-face legal practice with thousands of families combined with institutional experience affords Patrick a unique perspective and skill set when it comes to Trust and Fiduciary work and the interactions between legal and financial professionals as well as the families they work together to serve.
